December 2025 Club Luncheon

Posted on January 4, 2026

Saturday December 27th was the last SCARA Luncheon of 2025.  Being stuck between Christmas and New Year I expected a lower than usual turnout.  However, I was happily surprised as there were 16 people in attendance.  This month we met at M.L. Rose Neighborhood Pub in Gallatin.

There was a lot of buzz around the Meshtastic network around the local area and the anticipated Medium Fast switch that would be taking place during the first week of 2026.  As usual the children who only became adults in age had fun blasting messages to one another and laughing at those that got frustrated because their devices were not working properly.

The room was very warm and humid as the outside temps had risen that day.  With that said the atmosphere was welcomed by one and all.  The food was excellent as was the service and cleanliness.  Before we left it was mentioned that we should revisit the venue in the not-too-distant future.

The SCARA monthly luncheons have proven to be a welcome event and a great success.  I look forward to more in 2026.  Thank you to all who have come out and enjoyed the fun at these casual get togethers.

In attendance, in no particular order were:

  • KR4DXL, Ben and his family
  • NG2S, Brian
  • KF4VOY, Paul
