On September 27th, 2025 the Sumner County Amateur Radio Association held the monthly club luncheon at Center Point BBQ in Hendersonville. Attendance was a bit light this month with 11 attendees. In no particular order, Mike, K4VVA, Richard, WA4YQC, Vincent, K4OZE, Jennifer, KS4ANE, Ben, KR4DXL, Kevin, K4TNR, Jon, W4JDM, Tony, W1VS, Brian, NG2S, Tom, W4UWO and his harmonic.
The food was good as was the conversation and fun. Discussions included topics like tower maintenance, APRS, Meshtastic and even R/C Cars!
Earlier in the day some of the guys got together for some tower maintenance at Richard’s QTH. Mike was kind enough to do the climb while the rest of us excelled in either support roles, like holding the ladder, or supervisory tasks, like looking up and watching. LOL
I am looking forward to the October lunch and hope the rest are as well.
